John Kerry needs to read my last entry!!!!!
Even if you believe the statement from Senator John Kerry about his insulting statement being a "botched joke"....you also have to believe that he owes an apology to the ENTIRE United States Military.
First, his joke wasn't exactly funny unless you are a hard core partisan. Republicans would be insulted and Indepenents would simply roll their eyes at him (that was my reaction to reading the alleged transcript of what was supposed to have been said).
Instead, Senator John Kerry is coming across as the arrogant ass that I thought he was back in 2004. Namecalling is not respectful, but I did not call him that. I simply stated that was how he came across then and now. Observation, not an insult.
Respect. If you make a mistake, you apologize and take further actions to make it right. I would like to believe that I have enough respect for my fellow human beings that I have always done that. If I have not, please show me the example and let me make amends for the mistake.
Oh...let me quickly get back to the core statement of John Kerry. About being uneducated, etc., and directing those comments, supposedly, to President Bush. Ok...fine. But did I not read back in 2004 that President Bush had better grades at Yale than Senator Kerry did?
Hmmmmmmm.....another case of revisionist history?
Give EVERYONE a LITTLE RESPECT here, Senator. Be honest. Be humble. Be RESPECTFUL.
It would be a nice change.

Apparently John Kerry has NOW apologized to the members of the US Military.
Being thrown under the bus by everyone in his party EXCEPT Howard "The Scream" Dean might have had SOMETHING to do it. Just maybe.
