15 December 2008 - Doughnuts with Dad Day

Ben's school  (Lawson Elementary) is having Doughnuts with Dad Day this morning from 7:45 to 8:45.  Obviously, I cannot make it.  But, I had an idea.

This morning I went out early to HyVee and picked up some doughnuts and a gallon of orange juice.  Kathy is going to bring Ben here to work.  We will have our doughnuts here and then I will take him to school.

Big doings in Michigan today.  First, my guest this morning is in Michigan for the North American International Auto Show (Jim Meigs, editor-in-chief of Popular Mechanics).  Second, the GOP primary takes place there.  The DNC is not really being contested due to a violation of the DNC rules when they moved the date.

Will Romney get a bump from his home state?

Will McCain secure his role as front runner?

Will Huckabee prove Iowa wasn't a fluke?

Will Fred Thompson prove that he is not ready to go on the cart?  That he is feeling better?

As for me, I want to know what's happening at the North American International Auto Show.

---------------------

Dick Morris said that Hillary Clinton would insert race into her campaign for the DNC nomination.  Guess what?

---------------------

The Royals Caravan will be coming to Jefferson City's HyVee on Thursday at 3-4pm.  I will have Denny Matthews (long time Royals broadcaster) on the show Thursday morning at 7:40am.

American Idol starts tonight.  God help us all.
