Yesterday, I told you this would happen. But first, let me have a little fun.
I headed to bed last night and turned the TV on in the bedroom. It was set to History (formerly The History Channel, apparently they are saving money by dropping "The" and "Channel" from their stationary.) and the program was called "All About Dung"!
The crew was examining ancient human dung.
I changed the channel.
I went to Fox Sports Network - Kansas City to see how the Royals were doing. Got there in time to see Baltimore score again. Ugh...
I changed again. (The Royals did go on to win in 11 innings, 6 to 5.)
Caught one of those Progressive Insurance ads. While no Billy Mays, I do like Flo a lot more than Erin Esurance. Seriously, why does someone selling auto insurance double as a spy? Anyhow, I just enjoy Flo's enthusiasm for her job.
Where else do you see someone excited about getting a "tricked out nametag" while at work?
I haven't seen that since I was in management at CompUSA.

OK, the I told you so thing.
Barack Obama gave his speech in Independence yesterday. He does that a lot.
In his speech, one of many the man give, he offered a mild denouncement of Wesley Clark's Sunday morning statements.
Plausible deniability. Those who support the speech giver, will continue to think he did the right thing and gush about how refreshing a change the man is.
Those of us who have seen him for what he is, more of the same liberal crap that the Democrats have been shovelling for years, see it as a hollow way to step out of potential minefield.
But what I found most interesting was that in watching CNN and Fox News Channel yesterday, I was pleased, but not surprised, to see that most of the pundits agreed with what I had said on the show and posted on the blog yesterday.

National League baseball fans take note. The American League has ten straight on you in the All Star game (the tie in 2002 doesn't count) and have been spanking your teams in interleague play since 2003.
Who is the MINOR league?

Sarah Steelman will be back on the show Wednesday morning. She is outlining and new plank of her campaign for Governor. Tune in at 8:40 tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
Still no word from her opponent. Is Kenny Hulshof too big to grace my audience with his presence? The offers have been made to have him appear and to have him debate Ms. Steelman on the show.
It is possible that it is too early in the campaign.

It is the First of July, which means that we are half way through 2008.
Wow.
Oh, and happy Canada Day to all the Canadians who are reading this.

Have a great Tuesday and a better second half (of the year, that is).
