29 July 2008 - Empty Hook Radiothon, and other stuff

Today, we are having the Empty Hook Radiothon to help purchase backpacks and gear for homeless children in Mid-Missouri.  There are an estimated 375 children without a home who make the effort to go to school in our region.

For just $18, you can purchase on of the backpacks full of gear for these children through "Feed the Children" by calling 888-276-3663 or by visiting the website via KLIK1240.com or directly by clicking here

Conservative books made him do it.  Huh?

Yeah, and Road Runner cartoons led me to spend all money on ACME products.

The latest on the Knoxville church shooting is that Jim David Adkisson was driven to a distain for the liberally permissive nature of the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church due to the conservative literature that he had in his home.

And he was mad that he couldn't get work.

Here is what I have learned from the people in Knoxville that I have chatted with.  He has been married up to five times and had an order of protection against him by his last ex-wife.  One of this books in his possession was "The O'Reilly Factor" by Bill O'Reilly.

I own that book.  What does that say about me?

A nut is a nut while not necessarily nuts in a clinical way.

More will come out of this story in the next few days.

Have a great Tuesday.
